Settle payments and collect fees from one trusted provider.

Secure, regulated, and built for the complex payment needs of legal firms, lenders and financial institutions across the UK and Europe.

What we offer

Our platform provides a secure method of validating, collecting, protecting and settling single and multi-beneficiary payments.

Paying Agent Services

Single
Beneficiary

Payments destined for one individual
or business, with optional fee shares to an advisor, funder or claims management company. Includes validation, safeguarding, remittance and reconciliation.

Multi
Beneficiary

Payments split across many beneficiaries,
advisors and funders, ideal for group claims. We manage complex split settlements with full validation, safeguarding, remittance and reconciliation.

Fee
Collection Services

Fee Recovery

We collect a fee from an individual or business by card or wallet, safeguard the funds, then handle the split between multiple parties. This cuts admin time and accounting complexity.

Why is GuardPay different?

Settlement and fee collection, together

Most providers handle one or the other. As part of Infinite, we manage both through a single relationship, so you are not stitching two vendors together.

Built for the UK and Europe

We provide regulated settlement, fee collection and beneficiary verification across both the UK and EU, covering individuals and businesses across a wide footprint.

Additional Features

Alongside settlement and fee collection, you can layer on AML and credit risk checks as a value added service, giving your team extra assurance without extra suppliers.

Economies of Scale

Backed by Infinite's considerable settlement volume, we specialise in high volume settlement and pass that scale on to you through more competitive pricing than comparable options.

FAQs

Questions,
answered.

Everything you need to know about safeguarding, settlement and getting started.

Is the money safe with GuardPay?

Yes, all funds are safeguarded in accounts provided by Banking Circle under an EMI (eMoney Institution License) both in the UK and EU.

It depends very much on the use case. If your business is currently or had planned to support large volume payments through a Client Account, then this removes the need to do this directly and provides opportunity for automation and operational improvement. If you use your Client Account for a mix of different payments that have different use cases than are supported by GuardPay it should not be considered a replacement.

GuardPay is a specialist in frequent and/or high volume settlements. It has specific expertise in managing the settlement of group claims, or frequent individual settlements. Unlike many providers, GuardPay also has the ability to arrange Fee Collection to support multiple methods of fee recovery.

Typically, GuardPay customers are directly regulated entities that remain responsible for the relationship with the beneficiary with GuardPay acting as the means of settlement. That said, GuardPay offers various AML tools as a value added service and will always validate the beneficiary before settlement to manage its own regulatory obligations. If GuardPay identifies an issue through either confirmation of payee, PEP or sanction searches that give cause for concern, we will engage with you to see if a suitable remedy can be found.

We typically settle via Faster Payment in the UK and Instant SEPA in the EU.

At the moment we can accept fee payments by card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express in the UK with the additional of Cartes Bancaire in France and Bancomat in Italy) as well as wallet payments such as ApplePayGooglePay etc. We plan to offer Open Banking payments in the future.

We can support all countries in the Eurozone (where € is the main currency). We do not currently support countries that are not in the Eurozone and we do not support countries that accept € but are not considered EU countries.

The GuardPay service is available via both API and via our portal. If you have any issues with this service, you can email support@guardpay.co.uk.
